Labrinth @ Camden Market
Event Date: 17/08/2014
LiveFi produced a 14 camera on-location production system capturing Labrinth’s 2014 surprise Camden takeover.
The event consisted of a huge number of moving parts: smoke bombs, thousands of balloons, 50 person choir, confetti canons, flags, dancers, kabuki drops. Needless to say the event drew a crowd.
The event was designed to be a surprise flash mob style experience. Extreme secrecy meant over-night builds and a clandestine approach to rigging and camera positioning. Everything was in place right under the publics noses hours before anyone had a clue!
The event was a massive success! LiveFi produced a TV edit for the 6 o’clock news within 30 minutes of the performance finishing with a graded long form edited overnight. The final video went live the next day. News coverage was gained across national print and online channels.
The entire production lasted 56 hours for LiveFi from first trucks being tipped to final sign off and delivery with the client. On time, within budget and one seriously engaged fan base this is a fantastic example of what LiveFi can pull off with impossible deadlines! LiveFi provided all crew, equipment and logistics. Ben Hall directed the live cameras and collaborated with LiveFi to drive the original creative spec home.
